Stuffed Cheese Spam

These stuffed cheese spam squares are so good, I dare you to try spam if you have never before. I believe these spam squares will amaze you!

INGREDIENTS:

1 can spam, sliced about 1/2 inch pieces

9 pieces cheddar cheese slices

9 tsp truffle mustard ( or you can use dijon mustard)

2 cups almond flour

1 cup powdered parmesan cheese

1 Tbsp old bay seasoning

2 tsp sea salt

2 tsp black pepper

Avocado oil for frying

DIRECTIONS:

Cut spam into 9 slices, add 1 Tbsp avocado oil in a frying pan and turn heat up to medium high heat. Add the spam squares into the frying pan and fry on each side for about 2-4 minutes each side.

Place spam on paper towels to absorb the excess oil.

Add a tsp of mustard in the center of each piece of spam, fold each piece of cheese and add on top of each piece of spam.

In a medium sized bowl, add almond flour, parmesan cheese, old bay seasoning, salt and pepper. Mix.

Add enough oil into the frying pan so each slice of breaded spam can be cover.

Dip each spam square into the almond flour mixture and add to the hot oil, fry on each side 1 minute and place on a paper towel to get excess oil.
